Ford QVM Program.

Ford Motor Company’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program for advanced fuel systems includes gaseous fuels (natural gas and propane) and electric vehicles. This program is how Ford offers most of its advanced fuel vehicles to fleet customers.

Redmark is an authorized QVM installer and is one of the first installers to receive both the Ford QVM (gaseous fuels) and eQVM (electric) certificates.

The Ford eQVM program is only applicable up through model year 2021, and all model year 2021 vehicles must have been ordered by March 1, 2021.

The advanced fuels QVM program has established a standardized process, inspected by Ford, that requires high quality control, safety, engineering, and NHTSA compliance.

Here is how the process works:

Ford manufactures the base vehicle and ships it to Redmark.

Redmark installs the advanced fuel system produced by a QVM or eQVM technology developer.

Redmark transports the completed vehicle to a Ford dealership for final prep and delivery to the customer.

In some cases, the vehicle is first sent to a Ford authorized body-builder QVM, such as for utility trucks and shuttle buses, before it arrives at Redmark.

QVM and eQVM program partners complete every step of the upfit process, so the final vehicle is fully warranted and ready for work.
